The Telegraph has won numerous awards for journalism and overall quality, including several Newspaper of the Year honors for both daily and Sunday papers from the former New England Newspaper Association and the former New England Press Association. The paper’s sports section has been twice honored by the Associated Press Sports Editors as one of the top 10 sections in the country for its circulation size.
Mr. Williams is a former reporter for Foster’s Daily Democrat of Dover and former reporter and city editor at The Sun of Lowell, MA. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Conservation.
Williams is active in both industry and local organizations. He is board chairman of the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce and vice president of Big Brothers Big Sisters for Greater Nashua and Greater Salem. He is vice president of the New England Newspaper and Press Association. He also sits on the publisher’s advisory board of Stars & Stripes newspaper, based in Washington, DC.
